The last info for P.J. on the NBA site is for the 06-07 season when he and T.J. were both Raptors. Where did he end up? Is he playing in Europe?

Here are some of his other achievements in Israel, which included ending Maccabi Tel Aviv's 14 year championship run.

Does anyone know if he is playing in an NBA summer league?

last i heard he was playing in turkey when someone threw a powerful cherry bomb onto the floor. someone ran onto the floor to throw it away from people and it went off in the dude's hand. he lost some fingers.

PJ played his first summer league game with the grizzlies and had a nice game. He came off the bench, and in 21 minutes had 17 pts, 8 reb, 4 steals, 3 assists, 5/6 fg 7/8 fts. He led the team in both rebounds and steals and was the second leading scorer behind Arther who had 18 pts. Hopefully, they will take a good look at him.

Based on PJ's minutes I think he has a chance of making the team. Other than their four roster guys, OJ Mayo, Crittenton, Arthur, and Conley, PJ is getting the most minutes. Also, they really have a glut of guards and need another small forward to back-up Gay. In his second game he had 11 pts and a team leading 8 rbs in 24 minutes (the games are only 40 minutes long).

PJ may be getting more minutes but he's gotta show he's improved his range. At least show he's developed something to 18 feet, so coaches/scouts will see that he's improved his range and will try to improve to the 3 pt line. The only way he will have a long career in the league is if he can extend his range to the 3 pt line.

Well, he hasn't been taking any outside shots. His scoring has come mostly around he basket. I think it is more important that he be able to show that he can guard small forwards and rebound.

PSA: PJ plays tonight at 7:00 on NBA TV

I think PJ had a good shot to make their team. The only player they have to be a backup SF is Marco Jaric. PJ brings great rebounding and defense to the position even though he is undersized. A bad team full of young players could use a tough winner like him.

even without three point range, he could be a Bonzi Wells type of player off the bench. A post up two or three who can rebound and play D? (bonzi used to)

Thats who I've compared him to. A lesser version of Bonzi. Bonzi is a better athlete, at least when he was on the Blazers, he was kind of a weird specimen. Looking at him you wouldn't think he could jump and slash. I think PJ is probably a poor man's Bonzi, however, Bonzi could shoot the 3. He had decent range.
