I missed this a few days ago.

THis leaves Texas with only P William Russ as a scholarship punter on the roster as Anthony Fera graduates. The article seems to indicate Nick Jordan and Nick Rose may punt as well.

There is a walkon punter on the roster from League City as well, Mitchell Becker.

Article also mentions DT Trey Lealaimatafao is making vsits to other schools. I wonder if this led to the availability of the DT spot just taken by Z Henderson from Longview

I thought Jordan looked pretty decent on punts in practice. Better than Fera for sure, but I think they wanted to take advantage of Fera as long as he was here.

It's about time Russ earn his scholarship.

As for Lealaimatafao, maybe the rumors about Mack leaving are true if he's truly taking new visits.

Sucks. Saw this someplace else a few days ago.

Lealaimatafao has been taking trips for a few weeks - ASU, UCLA and Ole Miss to name a few so it is not a recent change of heart.

Looks like he is scheduled for official visit to Texas this weekend.
