OWS- Prediction

An after thought by the Super Bowl. Probably an occassional protest here or there. No collective movement and no effect on the elections.

When I have time, I will relay a story where I went to an OWS protest in St Louis during the World Series. Little different than I expected, but not much. I wouldn't call it a hippy movement (although the bohemian types dominated the numbers) nor did I see anything violent or nasty. Mostly (90%) it was young folks looking on it as an adventure or older folks that regretted missing Woodstock and the protests of that time and wanted to experience something similar. Was fun actually.

The Occupy movement will definitely be irrelevant by the Super Bowl, though I wish they'd be irrelevant by next week. I'm going to London and will visit St. Paul's Cathedral, so I'll have to deal with them in person.

First off, I am not an OWS sympathizer, but I doubt they will be irrelevant by Super Bowl. But clearly the winter and civic intolerance of their squatting in public parks will force them to change tactics.

But there are too many well connected, left-leaning politicos who want a counter-balance to the Tea Party Movement to think they will just evaporate.

When it gets cold the comfort will be gone and they will ask themselves again, why are we here and not outside of the capital building in Washington!!!!

Honestly, this **** will continue as long as certain groups of people are supported financially. Whether you believe the conspiracy theories of the Ford Foundation, George Soros, etc... financial support or the support of mommy and daddy, these types will continue to sit on their *** and complain about not having jobs that they wouldn't work anyway.

The OWS movement will do nothing more than draw awareness for their cause by camping out. But to bring about real change they will have to act together in coordinated strategic ways. They have already done this in regards to moving their money from large banks and into credit unions and by getting BOA to drop the debit card fee hike. They have real issues that span all demographics. I don't see them being a flash in the pan and fading away into the calm cool night. But go ahead and keep giving us your predictions for whatever they are worth.

These OWS flea bagger bottom percenters are interviewing right now at these locations. They are advertising their idleness and willingness to be submissive to more militantly seasoned socialists and communists. Once the controller comrades have finished recruiting and training these bottom percenters, violence will increase.

It is the way of most if not all marxist movements to become violent.

These effing idiots are blocking streets in NYC. What does that prove? It's a huge waste of city resources as the cops are having to arrest each person one at a time. Free speech my ***.

He already did. He claimed it'd be a huge movement. I do not recall anyone ridiculing his act of opinion offering, or his request of permission to offer the opinion. He just did it without anyone's blessing.

I do not see what the attraction is to join an organization with no direction and no coherent goals. I cannot see it lasting much longer. The media and leftists so want this to be the left's answer to the Tea Party and it never will be. Their incoherent messages do not resonate with normal functioning people.
