over the air TV in L.A. about to burn

fire is headed to Mt. Wilson, where every TV station in LA keeps their transmitters. A shitload of folks in LA, OC, and the Inland Empire still get over-the air signals.

Sucks that this happens at the start of football season, particularly when a lot of folks are hurting and can't afford cable, and look to the TV for entertainment.
 
I've lived in CA for 20 years now. Every year there is at least one big fire, and often there are several. I'm surprised we have any trees left.
 
yeah Doc, me too. Just be grateful that they haven't gotten too close to where you are at. When I was in school, that Etiwanda fire came within 50 yds from my folks house. Scary as ****.
 
The drive up to Mt. Wilson is beautiful, wonderful scenery. Sounds like it's going to be gone for a while. Shame.
 
Yeah, God can't quite nail down the exact culprits in those 'sins' so he just firebombs the whole area.
 
As many would say when living in LA, there are only two seasons: wildfire and mudslide.

I've been up there a bunch of times. That's incredible to see. They'll be hesitant to send anybody up there because it's only accessible by a single, two lane winding road that could easily be cut off.

Great views from there of LA on clear day you can see the ocean. I went up there the day the Cowboys destroyed the Bills in the Rose Bowl Super Bowl. All the blimps circling the stadium had the odd effect of making it look like a distant fish bowl.

California must be a lot bigger than we think because there are always 1,000's of acres on fire but there are still trees.....

Actually, I've never seen a Jenna or Sasha flick. But I know about Sasha as Los Angeles magazine had an interesting article about her a couple of years back, when she was first breaking into the "industry". The article started with a full page photo of her without any make-up or grooming...she looked downright ordinary and ugly. The next page showed her made up as she apparently appears in her films (though clothed). The contrast was amazing.

I'm an old fart. I think the last skin flick I watched was Taboo, back in the early 80s.
 
I think many men would be amazed at what women look like in their natural state! As a sorority girl in the 80's, there were 3 models in my pledge class, one of whom went on to the bigs...all worked plenty at the time though. You should have seen them in the a.m. w/out hair and make-up...never would have picked any of them out of a crowd of 10.

My advice is on a 3rd or 4th date is to go swimming, water skiing, etc. to see what the make-up might hide! Plus, it shows she is a trouper.
My first date with the man of my dreams was water-skiing. I knew after he saw me w/wet hair, no contacts (glasses) and no make-up, if he asked me out again it wasn't just for my stunning good looks.

BTW, back then, I looked pretty darn good in a bikini, except that I am short (5'1) so, short legs. Boo! But I still weigh what I weighed then thanks to running, weight lifting and watching what I eat. But, at 50 yo, I stick to a 1-piece these days!

I just wanted to say that I do watch porn, and I hope God doesn't firebomb my house. That would suck.

So, what happened with the fire anyway?
