If you insist on priding yourselves on cheapshots, you have to be prepared to face the consequences. For that matter, if no one on UT's O-Line does not try to lay a massive hit, legal mind you, but massive nonetheless on that bastard English for the ******** hit he put on Colt last year then there's something wrong with their cajones.

I am not a fan of cheap shots.
I am a fan of payback(in a legal and fair fashion of course) and sticking up for your teammates.
Granger pushing the guy on his *** committed a personal foul.
You don't have to hurt somebody to get flagged for that.
I watched the paper clips try to start a fight in the tunnel before the game.
And when your kicking someones *** it's ok for you to show a little class.
If this Blow-U team wants to act like the thug Miami teams of the 1990's then I hope they get beat up more often.
Hey Stoops, it's ok to teach your team about character along the way as you teach them football.

yeah! payback against a team 18 years later. way to show those players on the field back in late 80s/early 90s how you feel against some kids today.

how about ou reschedule usc NOW.... rather than in 20 years after the skullfucking you took in the orange bowl.

You never want to see a player get hurt.*

*If the player is a cheap shot little ***** Sooner getting his *** handed to him as payback for more continued Sooner ******** then it is really really funny and laughing is not only acceptable, it's encouraged.

No, Phoenix, I'm talking about your team acting like a bunch of classless thugs that seem to have no idea what winning with class and sportsmanship is about.
And I also notice that you didn't disagree with me.

"what was one to expect? "
Maybe that OU would come out of the tunnel and proceed to their bench and prepare for the game.
Not stop at the openning, turn around and start jumping up and down, mouthing off, and starting a shoving match with the other team.
Which by the way is why Wash was mouthing off to ou during the game.

I hope he never plays again.

I hope Auston English blows out both knees in practice for that matter. Screw those cheapshot artists.

Got in an argument with Larry Birdine at the OU game the year he was hurt with a labia tear. He came unarmed to a battle of wits, and could only talk about how good he was.
Wonder which drive thru he works at now?

Karma's a *****.

HEY, why does it have to be a bus crash? I take that personally, damnit.

I never wish injury on another player, even dirty ones, even rival ones. When I see fans at other sites do that it makes me proud to be a Longhorn and not tied in with that lot. When I see it here I feel sad like the Native American in the don't pollute commercials.

Now coaches, however, I do not feel the same for them. I was delighted that Weis got taken out.

When someone does something stupid and someone else does does something stupid the results are seldom positive.

Try to explain this any aggy and he'll never get it...

"But who knows what went on in pre-game? "

Well, I saw what happened as they came out of the tunnel and I guess that would be considered pregame.
So I was projecting that the sooners acting like clowns at the tunnel is what inspred Wash to mouth off during the game.
I don't think it's that much of a stretch.

Unfortunately, the Sooners running their mouths (and making threats) during pregame would be nothing new. I was in LHB for the '03-'06 seasons. Before the '06 RRS, we were waiting on the far left side of the tunnel while the OU players were walking from the field to their locker room. Naturally, a Texas Fight chant starts. As fate would have it, Adrian Peterson (and all this greatness) walks by as this is going on. This did not sit well with Mr. Peterson. Therefore, his greatness proceeds to walk up to the band member right in front of me, get six inches away from his face, and yell, "I'm gonna **** you up!" I was actually quite shocked (though I suppose I should not have been) and somewhat afraid (reasonable). All 5'8" 150 LBS of the band member responds by throwing up the Hook 'em Horns. All Day proceeds to leave.

Point being, if this is how the Sooners engage with the opposing school's band before a game, I can only imagine how they interact an opposing school's players.
