Our Women's Swimming and Diving Team beat AM!

That was yesterday in College Station and they won 169 to 131! This gives us the State Farm Lone Star Showdown lead for the year at 4.5 to 1.5. This point is extra critical because unfortunately the Aggies are probably going to get all 4 of the Track and Field points available, plus probably one from softball and with the situation with out baseball coach I am not sure there. I would love to be wrong but I expect it to be close at the end. It takes 10 points to win this competition and every point will be critical. But our Women's Swimming and Diving team have done there job so let's keep the good work going Horns!

Our swimming program took a little dive perhaps when the old coaches were let go, but Brakin has done an excellent job and I don't think our ladies will lose to A&M in the near future. Look for TEXAS to be in the NC hunt from now on.

Our track teams are in serious trouble.....especially the women. What Brakin has done for our swimming program, Henry has done for their track program. I don't see TEXAS beating A&M anytime soon with the way things are going on the recruiting side. Somebody knew what he was doing when he hired Henry away from LSU.

We need Bev to step it up and if she can't.....we need someone who can step it up against Henry or we will be playing second fiddle for a while.
 
Unfortunately I know what you mean Cuernos and you are probably right. I will update the State Farm Lone Star Showdown soon.
 
Women and Men both swim against SMU on Saturday. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make that.

I am going to try and go to the National Champs in CS in March.
