Our Women's Cross Country Team does great!

In the Big 12 Cross Country Championship our Ladies finished fourth and ahead of the Aggies to get the point in that event for us in the State Farm Lone Star Competition. The Aggies have always had that point but we got it this time.
Well done Ladies! Super Job!

Unfortunately our men didn't get the job done and finished behind the Aggies. They had won it the past several years. This point could be critical in this competition because the Aggies will probably get the other 4 track and field points.

We need to beat them in volleyball this afternoon so let's do it Horns.

Right now the score (before the volleyball result) is tied 1.5 to 1.5. I was hoping to report it was 2.5 to .5. Oh well.

Thank you Gem! And our volleyball team got the other 1/2 point in the competition tonight so we lead 2 to 1.5. Thank goodness for our Ladies today!

Hep me here Bill. Going into todays events the score was A&M 1/2, Texas 1. So cross country split, giving Aggies 1 1/2
Texas 2. VB won making the score A&M 1 1/2, Texas 2 1/2.

Texassports is very good about putting photos of our teams hosting the State Farm Lone Star trophy when they win a point for us. For some reason they haven't included our Women's Cross Country Team. Very disappointing indeed. Oh well - Hook 'em!
