Our softball team beats Centenary 6 - 0!

Tresselt did a great pitching job and we got the runs. This is what we need. We got a dandy picture in Luna and Tresselt is doing a great job so far. We are getting good support defense to as evidenced by the shutout. We had one of the greatest in CAT and we gave her good support defense but the run support was lacking. I know when you face other teams with good pitchers you get 1 - 0, 2-1 and 3 - 2 type scores but when you play weaker teams you should get much run support. CAT lacked it here because we played teams we shouild have won by 4 or 5 runs and only won by maybe 1 run (and some when CAT had to pitch extra innings)or even lost because of lack of run support. Hopefully we will get all that with Luna and the other pitchers the next several years. It looks encouraging. GO HORNS!

Good start to the year. Offense MUST produce, and not just against Centenary. As Cat proved, the best pitching in the country isnt good enough to win it all. Gotta be able to score runs against the best competition. Im optimistic this will be a good year, but unless the offense can prove its legit against top competition, I wont get my hopes up too high.

Wow, that thumbnail in the link does look like Cat, except right handed of course. Glad the girls are doing well, have to get the wife and come to some games this year. Really had a great time back with Cat and the gang.
