Our Guys on the Bench

I thought it was a nice gesture for our guys on the bench to wear the Remember the 10 shirts.

We've had some pretty great battles with OSU over the years, and while I've always thought the competition between the 2 teams has been pretty intense, I think the programs respect each other.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families who lost their loved ones 10 years ago, and to Oklahoma State University.

Great battles? You mean like the game when T.J. mugged a pregnant OSU fan.

Well, I actually thought about that game when I typed that, but I was really thinking more along the lines of the D-OT game up there a few years when Kevin Durant was at UT. I know we lost and it hurt, but damn I gotta admit that was a great game.

Re TJ, I remember he was trying to help that woman up when her boyfriend/husband went postal.

Well, now that you mention it, it might have been a triple OT. I lost count in my memory.

Sure wish we had pulled that one out.

No prob, 87. I wasn't correcting you; I genuinely can't remember for certain.

I do recall being emotionally exhausted after that game and thinking that OSU got a couple of gifts (didn't Boggan and Eaton both knock down a couple of miracle shots?).

I think it was a triple OT game when Durant was there. I too noticed the bench players wearing the shirts and couldn't have been more proud.

I got home from work late and saw our guys in those long T's. Wondered aloud to Mrs what Okie State guys were doing on our bench, OR were those our guys in OSU T's.

Never had a bad trip to Stillwater. Lost some games there, but the folks were mostly great to us.
