I guess this can be a separate thread.

There are quite a few of our baseball guys tweeting at Kyler Murray. This one from Chad Hollingsworth was great -The Link

(He didn't talk about all those countless aggy trips to Omaha. I wish he mentioned John Byington and Chuck Noseblock from the greatest aggy team ever, better than even the Yankees, as the farmers claimed, whose crowning glory was beating Texas - of course in one of those many years when we played the NC final game at Omaha)
 
The issue with baseball is that if he joins our baseball team, he has to play 3 years before going pro. As he is right now considered a first round pick, that is a dangerous proposition. He could of course play minor league baseball in summer and do a Ricky Williams while playing football (I think that option is still there and the rules haven't changed). No idea what the Murrays are planning.
 
Adam Dunn is another name of Football to Baseball that comes to mind. While the massive departure that year of QB's screwed us and made us not get to red shirt Simms like we told him we would, Dunn, Walton and Cherry made good decisions that seem to have worked out well for them! Cicero, not so sure. While he also got into modeling he was not as successful as Cherry.

It seems Augie was asked if he would take a hypothetical quarterback who would also want to play baseball.

Augie: "For the one you're talking about, I would get in my car, drive down, pick him up and give him the car afterwards. Hypothetically."
