OU having trouble stopping the 3pt barrage from USF. USF up 63-48 with 7:53 to go.

OU couldn't come back after going down 20. They end up with their first loss of the season, 83-68.

USF seriously outrebounded OU (51-29) and went to the free throw line 31 times to 12 for OU. Of course, OU only made 4 of the 12 attempts. So, OU appears to have the same weaknesses they have had the past several years.

USF may be a pretty good team. Their only loss is to Maryland. They have beaten Chattanooga who just beat Tennessee.

At this same tourney, Illinois beat UK who beat Baylor. Will be interesting to see what happens as the round robin continues.

OU vs Kentucky. heading to OT at 79 each. really strange ending to the game with a Kentucky player pulling the jersey of a OU player to stop her from running the clock down. Don't know why the OU player was called for a technical but Kentucky hit one of two FTs to tie it, then OU missed both FTs and missed the last gasp shot at 1.1 seconds to send the game to OT.

okay, the OU player was hit with a technical because she slammed the ball down after she was pulled down by the Kentucky player. weird.

OU loses to Kentucky 92-88 in OT. They missed a chance to win it in regulation by missing FTs towards the end of the game and missing two FTs with 1.1 seconds left with the score tied. Much better showing, though, than last night.

Man! The early season results seem to be saying this is a year of parity in women's basketball.

OU loss another one close, to Kentucky.

OU loses to Illinois 69-68, with lack of FT conversion again costing them as they only hit 12-20 to the Illni's 13-18. They also came up short in the 3pter scoring as Illinois hit 10-22 to OU's 8-17. This was the third loss in a row for OU to even their record at 3-3.

oops, didn't look at the time. Thought that was a final. looks like OU pulled it out in OT. 78-76. Despite hitting only 62% from the FT line, they went to the FT line 7 more times than Illinois and made 18 FTs to 16 FT made by the Illni.

OU is 4-2 for the season snapping a two game losing streak.
