OU loses two guards

Jenny Vining and Rose Hammond are transferring in search of more playing time.

I know OU signed a couple of post players but guards? I need to check their roster and stats to see how this might impact their depth.

These two players did get some playing time but neither was very productive. Vining just never seemed to find her stride. She was a great three point shooter in high school but the college game is played at a pace that seemed to disrupt her rhythm.

Very sad to see OU lose players...

Get your facts straight, you shorthorn. The real reason they leaved was they was upset at how they weren't no longer offered the free lexus deal they was promised earlier.

After watching Vining play I am surprised that she was recruited to OU. The game seemed to be too fast for her and she never found a comfort zone.

Wouldn't we all like to be able to recruit a Maya Moore and Angel McCoughtry. Even Hand, who is a great player, got shut down in the second half in the game against Louisville when Louisville figured out how to guard her.

With CP gone OU may be a middle of the pack team, who knows. We'll see next year.

Sherrie Coale was forced to change her style of play to accomodate the Paris twins. I would expect her to go back to the style she used with players such as Stacey Dales, Chelsea Welch, and Leah Rush.

That's not a bad reason to be forced to change style. And you are right that the OU game plan is going to look very different going forward.
