OU kickoff at 11

Sark said today in his Presser that 11 is a good time for the guys, because that is usually when they are coming off the practice field. I hope he is right. Hook’em

Well I guess I could use that as an excuse to save a Sat night hotel bill and drive back to katy after, but it does delay the heck out of the victory celebration.

What time are the cretins running the Fair going to open the buildings? Sometimes 9, sometimes 10. I have a feeling that electronic ticketing at The Cotton Bowl will take over an hour.

Adding insult to injury, there isn't a single game at 230 that is worth a ****. This could be televisions worst Saturday afternoon ratings in decades.

after the revolution (SEC) all our games will be at 2:30 or 7 pm.

which is the only thing I like about crawling in with those ditch crawlers

If I am not mistaken, the RRR has started at 11:00 for much of the past two decades if not much longer. They used to do it to accommodate the World Series.

Perhaps it’s not the best start time for a max television audience but for some reason that stadium looks magnificent in the morning sunlight. Maybe it’s the split crowd but I really don’t have a problem with the early start.

And consider this:

This year the CF fans around the country will be hearing — all day long — about how unranked Texas spanked the fourth ranked Gooners, and how “once Heisman front runner” Rattler paled in comparison to Casey Thompson and Bijan Robinson. That can’t be all bad.

Yeah, unfortunately, I'm used to this game being at 11 am for a long long time. I think the last time it was at 2:30 was maybe 1998 or 1999.

Early 80s...11 a.m. kick, easy win, left the stadium immediately and my driving partner didn't go below 80 all the way home...partied on the Drag that evening...

Pretty sure the 1983 game was at 2:30. We rode a charter bus with some Exes and had some time to wander around the fair before KO. And it was nearly midnight when we got back to Austin.
