Game going back and forward. Teams trading the lead with every made shot.

lots of fouling. Both teams having trouble with the new rules but Gonzaga doing a worse job, sending the Sooners to the FT line 40+ times with 4 minutes to go.

OU's going to win this one. Gonzaga went cold from the field and FT line the last 2-3 minutes and kept sending the Sooners to the FT where they converted. 82-78 and the Sooners move on the WNIT.

Glad to see the gals pull that one out. At the start of the year, I was glad to see that the new rules emphases' were put in, in hopes of seeing the game cleaned up a bit, but if it consistently leads to games like tonight, I may start thinking that they may need to scale it back a bit as there was next to no continuity to this one whatsoever. Hopefully it was just a case of teams not adjusting well on a given night.
