Anyone ever sat on the OU side for the game? How was it?

On the rare occasion I ended up with seats on the undesirable side, I looked for some undesirables on our side and offered to swap. It always works.

When I have purchased tickets for this game I am always aware of of the CB seating & the sections where the ou fans sit. I have not and will not buy a seat where I have to sit with the great unwashed, the undesirables

I have great empathy for any of you that have sat in an ou section during this game - especially when they were winning or won the game... I could not do it.

1968, 9 rows behind the OU band. Woo-WOOO-WOOOO scores the game winner with 39 seconds left. I was a kid so I am sure I was at least as much of an *** as the red polyester nation. I wore one white sock and one orange sock for luck. We ate Youngblood's fried chicken by the lagoon before the game. A million midnights ago.

yellowdog - don't envy you one bit sitting behind the ou band and having to hear boomer-sooner over and over and over up close.

1968 was my first TX-ou game - I was 15 yrs old! James Street rallied the Horns passing on that long 4th qtr drive. I was sitting in the North End Zone with my Dad to see WooWooWorster launch himself in for the winning TD. A 26-20 thriller!
