OU CB arrested

Very interesting. Thomas started 11 games last year, was 2nd team All-Big 12 (5 INT's), and is the lone returning starter at corner.

Why so interesting? Normally Stoops would give a love tap (no team harm) suspension from the cupcake opener for incidents like this.

Seeing as OU will open with Herman's Cougars shredding their DB's, suspending the best corner even one game would be very costly. :ousucksnana:

Arrested for.....Interference?? BWAHAHAHAHA!! That's hilarious! But, he'll get the mandatory 1 game suspension, for the OUsux Spring Game in 2017.

"Oklahoma starting cornerback Jordan Thomas was arrested early Thursday on charges of assault and battery, public intoxication and interference by the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office.

Thomas has had off-the-field problems in the past. He was suspended twice last season and missed the Tulsa game after Sooners coach Bob Stoops said "he let the team down."

He was also arrested in December for failing to appear for a scheduled court date for a speeding violation.

Thomas has been listed on several preseason all-conference and national watch lists. He made 46 tackles and picked off five passes in 2015, returning those interceptions for 153 yards.
 
I have this pie in the sky hope that football coaches will now see the slippery slope of giving multiple chances to a player and how it can become a Baylor situation as they continue to pretend they care about them.

I might it was his 2nd time in trouble and now that spotlight due to Baylor might make him do something out of character but let's not forget mixon punched a girl on camera and is still on the team
