Let me see if I understand this... we have no meetings on the mound to remind the pitcher to hold the guy at first and give their #1 hitter absolutely nothing to swing at. Then we let the runner steal second so large that our catcher doesn't even have a throw. Then after five pitches outside, 3-and-2, one strike away from closing it out, we groove one for him? Man, I don't know... but if I'm callin' that stuff, that 3-2 pitch he's gonna need a friggen golf club to hit... either that or a bat six feet long... maybe even the ol' fake passed ball to see if we can get the runner trying to advance...

Oh, well - I know we're spozed to hate 0u and all, but still - I hate to see the XII lose, and I really hate to see a loss like that. Kinda reminded me of watching game 1 against LSU slip away last year...

I really don't have anything against their baseball program. Cochell was an amiable coach there, was cordial with the DF Texas fans. They did make some bad mistakes there at the end, but they had a good run.
