I know a lot of people here don't care much for women's basketball, but you did click on this thread, and it's got to be impressive for any UT sports team to pull off a comeback like this.

Halftime score was 40-24 in Baylor's favor. Texas outscored them 52-21 in the second half!

I turned on the radio early in the 2nd half and texas was down by 16 to Baylor the number 2 seed. Well, Texas goes on to win by 15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for posting. I saw the halftime score and figured the the game would be tough to pull out. I would have watched, but the Rockets were on instead.

I noticed both of the top 2 seeds have already lost, as well.

Texas plays Oklahoma State tomorrow (technically, today since I'm posting at 12:15am) then the winner of that game will face the winner of Iowa State and A&M.

It's not inconceivable that Texas could win the tournament. Not likely, but not impossible.

I am a more casual follower of Texas womens' hoops than I should be, but I think the comeback and victory over a damn good Baylor team was amazing. Coach G is really turning things around.

At the very least, they're building something for future by showing this kind of grit & character.

Must admit I'm a very casual follower of the Lady Ls but good to hear they pulled it out and hopefully make it to the big dance.

great quote from Mulkey: "If I wasn't so young in my career, I'd resign tonight," frustrated coach Kim Mulkey said after her ninth-ranked Bears fell to 24-6. "Put that in the paper."

Hook'em!!!
