OT - Volleyball bracket

Morning -did anyone else notice they put 4 Big 12 teams in the same Omaha region? Not a big deal but I thought it was strange. 6 teams made it so I thought they would evenly distribute them throughout the regions. And TX plays TAMU in the 2nd round.

Looks like to me that TX and TAMU would play in the third round if they both advance, but I may be misreading the bracket.

The Big 12 got messed over big time...There's no way in heck the top four teams should be in the same region. All four should have been sent to different regions.

But it is what it is so we just have to play the hand that's been dealt.

4 Big 12 teams in the same region AND we could end up playing the VERY much lower seeded NEBRASKA in Omaha. Hummm. It makes more sense to have Florida State play in Minnesota?

So I had to followup on this. Guess which 4 teams made it to the 3rd round in the Omaha region?

Iowa St. vs NE
TX vs TAMU

I'm glad they all made it but it's frustrating that they didn't spread out the Big 12 teams. OK was knocked out in their region and BU will face CA in their region.

Texas won handily against A&M, but poor Iowa State (the higher seede team) lost the first set 25-11 to Nebraska at Omaha.
