OT: Blood Donors in Houston needed

i got an email from my wife today. one of her workmate's friend's dad is at md anderson and needing blood donors desperately. sorry for the OT but i figured this board gets the most traffic. hopefully someone can help these folks out. sadly, the author of this original email just got married only last week. i don't know the family but i know we have a lot of good-hearted longhorns in the houston area.
