In Big 12 games, Riley is averaging 34.7 ppg, 4.67 apg, 92% from the FT line, 2.33 spg, 3.67 3s per game, has an A/TO ratio of 1.40 and is averaging 40 minutes per game.

She is 1st in the Big 12 in conference scoring, second in assists, 1st in FT %, second in steals, 1st in 3s made per game, 10th in a/to ratio, and tied for 1st with two others in minutes played per game.

To say she’s a big part of OSU’s offense is an understatement. She scores 43.6% of their points, makes 66.7% of their assists, has 44.3% of their FGs made, has taken 55.6% of their FTs attempted and made 67.4% of FTs made by the team.

Horns will be facing her and her teammates this coming Wednesday at Austin.

Defensive plan - SHUT RILEY DOWN! Make the other OSU team members beat us. Put Britt on her and let AT double her and don't let her get the ball. What ever it takes don't let her get the ball. Harass her all game. Don't even let her touch the ball.

She is a jerk and some of her family was just as bad as her when they where here in Austin last year. Very rude all around.

The key to stopping Riley is keeping her off the FT line. She may be averaging 34. 7 but she's only connecting on about 35% of her shots.

The key is to limit the number of shots she gets. She is so fast that it is hard to stick with her the entire game...she is going to break free and burn you at some point.

probably why Baylor allowed her to walk the ball up the court pretty all the game. Of course, we run so she may like that even better since she can get shots off the fast break. Like they say, pick your poison.

i can't stand Riley, mainly because she's a dirty player. but she puts up some pretty phenomenal numbers, so she's clearly a good basketball player. selfish player, but good.

great point about her shooting %. she had that same issue last year. she can score 30+ points a game, but how many shots does it take her to do it.

i remember from the game last year at the FEC, Texas let Riley walk it up and often times stand and hold the ball. once OSU got the lead, they slowed it down. Riley would stand in the back court for probably 10-15 seconds. it's extremely hard to defend someone who is that fast, when they are standing in the back court...once a defender approaches her, she blows past them and is looking at a 5 on 4 situation. hopefully the horns will try a different approach this year.
