Orange-White Fall Series Starts

Texas Longhorns Athletics - Baseball to play Orange-White Fall World Series

Looks like no LHN coverage, which is disappointing.

White Team won game one 5-3, the difference was a Cantu homer.

Lefties Josh Sawyer and Ty Culbreth were the starting pitchers.
Sawyer for the White squad and Culbreth for the Orange. Both pitched pretty well.

Kaleb Denny is back from his injury that sidelined him all of last season and played left field for the Orange.

That's about all I know, texassports.com has nothing and saw nothing on LHN. You would think with all these resources that UT has, there would be a story about the game.

LHN has carried these games in the past, looks like they would be better than reruns.

The second game of the series is most likely over by now and still no report on the first game.

I guess ESPN didn't want a Texas intra-squad baseball game to pull people away from their SEC coverage.

I went to the games on Friday and Saturday. Seems like they could have at least provided a roster with full names, positions, hometowns. The roster sheets they handed out had last names and numbers, and that was it. And LHN is showing a rerun of the 2008 UT-Missouri football game this morning. Really?

Seems strange to not see Lance Sewell, form S&C coach. Any further info on why he left ?
