Does anyone have or know where I can get a high resolution (1280x1024 or better) of this picture? I swear I had it before, but can't seem to find a HQ version anywhere anymore.

Instead of just the indoor basement lap swimming pool, Gregory Gym now sports the country clubesque pool depicted. It is really beautiful. You should walk over there and see it sometime, Texanne. It looks like it should be in Cozumel or someplace similar.

you can see it from DKR.. in the "gap" between the west side and north side upper decks.

i looked over there one day and said what is that?!! Then i pulled an old man "kids have it so easy" soliloquy. It was quite poetic as well as comically and tritefully bitter.

honestly, it looks nice over there, wish I could have enjoyed it when i attended.

The best we had was "Jester Beach" which was actually just a patch of grass although the scenery was excellent at times.

Well Bluepies, when I was a freshman living in Jester the students, myself included, voted to pass a fee hike to help fund the pool.... I think thats how it went. I know we voted on the pool one way or another.

Bottom line, I never saw the damn thing in the 5 years I was there. I dont think it actually saw the light of day until 2005 or 2006? I would like to say I take some credit for it being there, however.

When I started at UT in 1981, tuition was $4/semester hour. There were still fees and books on top of that, but I easily paid for my tuition by mowing yards over the summer. Those days are long gone.
