Opening Day

It's April 4th, I get in my truck and there's an Astros game on. They're playing the Whitesocks. This will take a lot of getting used to and I honestly don't know if I care enough to try.

I will always remember watching the Astros play the Cards in the Dome while my dad sucked down the "coldest foam in the Dome." I don't know if it's because I'm pushing 50 or if this truly sucks. Maybe I should embrace the change but it just doesn't look or feel right.

you're jumping the gun a little. we don't move to the AL until next year, and we don't open this last NL season until friday night against the rockies.

Not quite opening day but next Tuesday I will be at the ballpark in Arlington to see the Rangers and the Mariners, our only trip home during baseball season and it coincides with a homestand, great little spring present for me.

Call me Mother Superior. Happiness is a warm gun. I thought I was listening to the first mid week game of the season and the AL switch was this year. I guess I already stopped paying attention.

But Daniel was hot, he drew first and shot and Rocky collapsed in the corner...

I'm happy.... Rangers were hot, drew first and shot - won their opener 3-2 vs. the lowly WSox.- at the game intro'd 2 ft. long hot dog that cost $26 called the "Boomstick".
