I see nothing wrong with it...fans are fans regardless if their team got swept. If I brought my son to a Texas game and Texas got swept that day I would hope the players stuck around to sign an autograph for him.

Hate to spoil the hatefest, but after Game 3 of each weekend series the players stay and sign autographs for all the kids. It is akin to the "kids run the bases" after game 3 at the Disch.
