One reason to root for the Big XII staying together

It's actually going to be a Salty BBall conference. Should be a very watchable regular season. Every team in the league is a possible tourney team.

Hope against hope, but as soon as Texas feels a fit for our own TV channel, the Horns will be bolting. A&M and OU are playing blind man's bluff to see who leaps first. I am reading a lot of reports by a poster that Texas and Notre Dame will be teams 13 and 14 in the Big 10. I read Aggy and a 4th team (Pitt, Mizzu, etc.) to be named become 15 and 16. I'd discount that report except the same guy was calling Nebraska to the Big 10 two years ago. Texas and ND would be interesting as both have separate TV deals to fit in with the Big 10 Network. Wouldn't bother me a bit since I am in Indy. Plus, Texas is misaligned with the Big 12 academically. Big 10 is best fit there for sure, with a nod to Pac 12..........
