One of our worse shames part 2

Since a post was done about this I decided to bring this up again. I hope I did it right but at least now I have a solution. It has been many years but I think the College President and administrators should issue a public apology for the action of our officials in this disgrace. No rationalising just admit they did wrong and we are very sorry for what happened.
Aggies eating Bevo. Good grief. This is a big disgrace and a shame that we allowed it. It would have been bad enough if they had stole him and done it but they came at our invitation. This is most shameful.

Relax Bill. I know it is horrifying to consider, but those were more simple times. Farm animals were treated like.....well, farm animals.

I know what you mean Oilfield but the mistake was made and an apology now would be in order and help heal wounds even though too late to save our first mascot. The Government has aplogized for out actions in the past. They were simpler times I know and they didn't have a BIS to try to keep them focused.

If it was for poor people it might be acceptable even though alternatives could have been available. But this was done by fat cat UT and Aggie administrators. It can't be compared to helping people out like what happened in Haiti.
