A few months ago there was a thread about this movie, but I did not see it until last night

What a good movie. Low budget, but awesome music and a great ending. It seemed very short and leaves you wanting more. Did I mention the awesome music?

I just caught them at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas the Monday after SXSW. They go by the name "Swell Season". It was badass.

I went to see the movie after seeing reviews posted on here several months ago.

I'm soooooo glad that I did.

Then the song won the Academy Award.

I consider this to be one of the best movies that I have seen in the last few years.

And to think that the bass player wrote and directed it makes it even more outstanding.

i loved that movie. and watching them win an oscar was awesome. i think i listened to that one song 500 times after i heard it in the movie the first time. i still find it moving.

I don't even really give 2 shits about music and I loved it.

So different. I kept waiting for some sort of tragedy or huge conflict to occur, Hollywood-style. I was so glad that it didn't go down that way. Very refreshing.

They absolutely would have ruined the film if Cillian Murphy had actually done the part as planned.

I can't believe they were at ACL and I missed them.
