saw on Texags. In the article, Olin refers to someone in Orlando saying A&M will always be Texas' little brother, to which Olin replies "Michael Corleone was Fredo's little brother".....Sooooo Texas is Fredo? And A&M is The Godfather? I don't know, I'm not seeing the analogy....thoughts?

Like it or not,, aTm fired Bear Bryant. Technically, he resigned and moved on. Those who know the true circumstances know that 'the Bear' overheard a couple of the 'big cigars' Ags suggesting he didn't have what it took to finish the deal. He saw the handwriting on the wall and took the Alabama job. No proof, but fact none the less. It's like the curse of the bambino, no proof but there all the same

Close to the same circumstances with Emory Bellard. He had some success, but when he heard Bum Bright, et al were testing the waters, he packed up and left with Bright, et al begging him not to go.
