I don't know if you saw this horrible story

but after a fight on six street Saturday night, this young man is in the hospital with a severe head injury

hopefully the young man makes a speedy and full recovery

Could just as easily have been Tuscaloosa, or Auburn, or Gainsville, or Fayetteville, or College Station, or Starkville, or Columbia (chose one), or Athens, or Nashville, or Oxford, or Baton Rouge, or Knoxville, or Lexington. Sad, but I believe the people in the car wanted a fight. Not because of he was from Ole Miss. 6 th street after 2 is not a place you want to be anymore.

Yeah, this probably has everything to do with time of day and location and very little to do with football.

Hornian was to chasing skirt what Mayweather is to boxing. He understands and executes the sweet science, at least he used to.

Sixth Street area is a far cry from what it was even ten years ago. The thug, gang and wanna be gangsta people that proliferate down there makes it unsavory. Bad, bad **** goes down especially after the clubs close.

It's very sad this young man, who got jumped, fell prey to it. I hope for a full recovery. I also hope the punks who did this are found and pay a steep price.

As a student in the mid 90's 6th street was pretty awesome.

I was there after a late ACL show in 07, and it was pretty sketchy....I got my Ropolo's slice and got the hell outta there.

You couldn't pay me to go down there now.

Interesting if true. Had not heard that. If that's the case he can expect to hear from John Manziel who likes to hang out with racists who use racial slurs and picks fights with black people. Though I don't know if they are much older than him, which is what Manziel prefers. At least his close friends who he still hangs out with do.
