Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri

Think about this - IF...

Oklahoma beats Kansas on Monday (at Norman)
Kansas beats Missouri next Sunday (at Lawrence)
and Missouri beats Oklahoma on the 4th (at Columbia)

and all those teams win their other games...

Then we're looking at

Missouri 14-2
Kansas 14-2
Oklahoma 14-2

In that case, who gets #1, #2, and #3? Sorry, I'm not aware of the three-way in basketball.

Kansas definitely has the edge if Griffin can't play Monday. If Griffin can play without limitation, then I'd give OU the advantage for the conference title based on remaining schedule.

While each team plays the other once and gets one at home and the other on the road, Missouri (already one down) has to host K-State and visit A&M. OU hosts OSU and goes to Tech. KU hosts Texas and goes to Tech. MIssouri has by far the tougher remaining road game, even if it does have a little extra incentive of payback in the home game against KSU.

I hope you don't take offense, HNK, because I really laud Nebraska for their effort in every game, but MIssouri has to feel a lot worse about that loss than the loss to K-State. If the three contenders all win at home in their mini round robin, then they'll look back at the loss in Lincoln as the one that they shouldn't have let happen.
