I like Neil Diamond early stuff (Jazz Singer and earlier).

I just heard Longfellow Serenade on XM. I sang out loud. By myself. Really loud.

There. I said it. I feel better.

Flame away.

I don't think any of us are suprised at all.

Ooh, wrong answer, Gus, but thanks for playing our game!

[Aside, to the studio audience: "I think Gus was just funnin' us."]

The correct answer was Paul Simon.

I feel your pain.

Soon after I met my future wife, she found my stash of Neil Diamond cassettes. I was horrified, but it turned out that she knew most of the songs by heart since her parents were Neil Diamond fans.

The shame deepened when we went to an actual concert two years ago. It was a lot of fun, but we were most certainly the youngest people in our section.

Neil Diamond kicks all sorts of *** and I'm not ashamed to say it anonymously on an internet message board where no one can see my face.

Diamondbag has been on a bit of a break while we replace two members, but we'll be back in the fall.

Yes, Diamondbag is my Neil Diamond cover band. Yes, I am the singer. Yes, I wear a sparkly blue sequined shirt. And yes, we ******* rock.

See you all on TX/OU weekend!

I have this vision of the entrance to the venue where Neil Diamond is playing, and watching lines and lines of guys walking through the doors, with their coats pulled up over their heads and ducking behind everything that will hide them from the passers-by.

In college, I seduced a chick whose name was Caroline. She had that name because her parents were big fans of "Sweet Caroline" when she was born. So I like Neil.

in college i tried to seduce a chick named caroline but she was dating MD Anderson's grandson and crashed and burned a la Maverick. she told me "rico, sniff sniff, you stink".

Full disclosure time: The first concert I ever attended was Neil Diamond in the FEC, circa 1982. It was ******* awesome, of course. I believe he both opened and closed with "America".
