Horn Fans has the best members. Generally. People say things that are worth reading. And HF has non-Texas contributors that are not just commenting to taunt. This is rare in sports but really in life. God bless you all and Merry Christmas.

I presumed HF was mostly free of jackassery due to lackluster football results and thus lower interest from the general fan. However, quality has been maintained this year despite a great season. I still expect an increase in jackassery if the horns go on a run the next few years.
 
Some of us are also quite humble as well. For example, Dukesteer would never call attention to his superior prognostication skills, or the fact that he finished 2nd in the 2023 Official Confidence Prediction Contest. (BTW, I’m pretty sure that BornOrange0855 cheated. I just haven’t figured out how to expose him yet.)

Seriously though, LonghornDave, you are exactly right. This really is a special community.

Thank you HF mambers! Much to my family's dismay, I added mucher to my vocabulary after a recent post brought it to my attention. However, my family does not appreciate it! They think I am the idoit now, even mucher than before.
 
LonghornDave is correct. This group is something special. I don't post too much on this board but maybe I should. But I sure do enjoy reading all the posts.

I don't post very often, but I appreciate that there are posters on here who are, well, old. We remember DKR the person, not only the stadium, and the glory days of yore. I found this board during the frustration of the Karen Aston final seasons and the messy Strong-Herman years. Happy, healthy holidays and new year to all. Now, tuning in the national championship volleyball game, which I expect and hope will be the first of 2 nattys this year!

Hey!!!!!! Cheating had nothing do with it. It was dumb luck, something I have mastered in all of my years on this earth!
 
The recent sucess of HF?

Outside of me and a few of you rascals.... MOST of our mambers are "mature", educated, reasonable and measured.

FAR less jackassery and bomb throwing than other sites I have visited in the past.

@Dionysus you rock keeping this site going!!! CDC comes here often to get our pulse and informed feedback!
