oil and gas operator question

PM me with any numbers/names you have and I'll see what I can find with the software I have on hand. I do this type of stuff for a living.
 
You don't need special software to search for this. TX Railroad Commission has a pretty intuitive GIS application you can access through thier website. You can find pretty much anything with an AP! #, including info on operators.

true, you don't need software to look at public record on the RRC site. They have been rather slow transferring the data to their website as of late, however. Other programs contain more data and analysis to expedite the legwork.
 
Just curious how you know the API# but not the operator?

Anyway, if it isn't on the RRC site, you can try drillinginfo.com
. I think they have a free trial and even if you don't i don't think it costs that much on a per well basis.
