Great win for the Horns in a nationally televised game. Winning a game like that is so crucial for BCS standings and recruiting. If OU wins the NC game by a substantial margin then OU and TX will probably finish 1 and 2 in the BCS. Since we beat OU and Ohio St on a neutral field I think they should forfeit the trophy to us.

I'm glad we won the game. I can only imagine what would be posted if we had lost considering some of the criticisms being posted about the players.

And it was a great game to watch.

hah, i couldn't resist...yet ANOTHER BCS let down for "Big Game Bob" Stoops and the Sooners. as much as i wanted the Big 12 to perform well in bowl games, i just couldn't bring myself to cheer for O-Who? tonite. glad they got brought back down to earth by the Gators.

I agree. They didn't deserve to be there so it was hard for me to support them in this game. Interesting that they lost to Texas by 10 on a neutral field and to Florida by 10 on a neutral field, although a game in the state of Florida can hardly be called neutral. OU got into the Big 12 championship game because they were ahead of us in the BCS and now that they lost in the NC game they should fall behind us in the BCS. Will be interesting if the number 1 and 2 ranked teams in the BCS didn't play in the championship game. What would that say about the BCS system?
