Barbara Billingsley gone at age 94

One of the staples as I was growing up - and later as the jive talking grandma in Airplane.

And with her goes the old joke about the dirtiest words ever uttered on TV in the early 60's!

She really projected maternal warmth and, as she showed in
Airplane, good comic timing. Sounds like she had a long life and outlived a lot of her family. Death is not always the tragedy.

Heck, I'm 35 and I grew up watching Leave It To Beaver re-runs. And I loved her in Airplane!
