Oh, the joys of executive session

I can't go home. My predecessor would go home when the executive session would start. I can't do that -- as municipal clerk (or city secretary) I feel the obligation to stay. Some exec sessions can get pretty lengthy, lasting past 11 p.m. And I still have to be here at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
