Oh man, CLASSIC aggy story...

So I have a friend over at college station who called me up today to ask how to register to vote. I was, of course, baffled that this person couldn't find a place to vote on the A&M campus, but I checked real quick on my phone and found an article from the battalion explaining how to register.

So I talk to him on AIM later in the evening to ask if he got registered. Turns out my friend needed to fill out a form and turn it in at their tax office. He makes it there just as the tax office is closing, and realizes he needs a copy of some form of id included with his registration letter. Undaunted, the brave aggy took out his driver's license and stuffed it in the envelope and mailed it away.

Yes, my friend was boastful about how he just mailed away his REAL driver's license. I've been trying to explain to him for the past 15 minutes how this was stupid but he just doesn't get why.

Can't make this **** up, folks.

I loled--good stuff.

This is a 100% real story. I mentioned to a friend one time that I got my acceptance letter to ATM. She was planning to go ATM I was not. She said "hmm. I wonder when I will get mine." I asked how long ago she applied. She responded with "you have to apply?"

midtown, that's gold. If you're a mena person, you could respond by saying, "well mine was a special case, but typically they do enrollments in homeroom on the first day. Just figure out what classes you want to take, show up to the first one and let them know you need to enroll. They'll give you the paperwork there."
