Official Visit weekend coming up!

We tend to forget about those commits who are still playing in the playoffs when Texas held it's Football Banquet/Official Visit weekend back in early December... Texas is scheduled to host 5 commitments as official visitors this weekend along with a prospect who is not committed and doesn't have an offer, 6-foot-3, 225 lb TE prospect Vincent Hobbs, Mesquite/Horn. He has received offers from Colorado (1/27 visit scheduled) and Marshall along with a potential offer from Arizona State in the coming days.

Should be a fun & interesting weekend...

Expected in Austin this Friday will be:
RB Johnathan Gray, Aledo
OT Kennedy Estelle, Pearland/Dawson
OLB Peter Jinkens, Dallas/Skyline
DE Caleb Bluiett, Beaumont/West Brook
QB/Ath Jalen Overstreet, Tatum
TE Vincent Hobbs, Mesquite/Horn

We need a TE in this class. Take Hobbs if we can get him.

Would rather we get a TE with more prototypical TE size though. We need a 6-6, 250 guy.

Right on. Kellen Moore I believe relied on TEs quite a bit.

So is Tom Brady right now. TEs mess you up. Difficult coverage situations. They are beasts to bring down once they catch and are rolling.

We havnt had a TE that i would consider a TE (sorry Irby, love you to death but doesnt have the size) sense Finley or D Thomas. would love to get one with this class and round it out
