Ok, so far...

ESPN Radio reported that Seattle has traded down sending their #4 to the Clippers for their #7 and next years 1st round pick. Seattle possibly targeting Brook Lopez....giving up on Sene and Swift. Not sure if it is 100%, but ESPN Radio said it was.

That's a brilliant trade for Seattle (errr....the Sonics) if it goes down. They clearly aren't in love with anybody so you might as well nab an extra first rounder and drop down a couple of slots. Sam Presti is stockpiling draft picks like he's Kevin Pritchard's bastard son.

The Nets/Bucks trade seems to be good for both teams. What in the hell are they going to do with Vince Carter now in the middle of a huge rebuilding plan? He's got to be on the block.
 
Sonics want Mayo or the the stiff.

Hopefully the Clippers tank next year and get they Sonics get the 1st overall.

Interesting move by the Hornets, essentially saying that they aren't going to find anybody at #27 that they like so they're better off spending the money on a free agent that can help right away.
 
I'm a little surprised that Seattle would take Westbrook. I hope this means they are going to play Westbrook at the two and slide Durant to the three. I am disappointed in the pick, but I am relieved they did not take Lopez though.

They have been saying for 2 days he was "free falling like an anvil" bc of 2 medical conditions, including some kidney issues, so I doubt he is shocked.

But I wouldnt mind him falling to the Rockets!

Although I am hoping Houston goes after CDR...either one of those would be good with me. However, I feel like "my teams" have the worst of luck in the draft. Im pretty sure DA and CDR will go the 2 picks before Houston...

I wanted Darrell Arthur.
 
I wanted CDR...great guy to have behind either Battier or Tmac.

Arthur would have been good, but PF is pretty loaded with Landry/Scola/Hayes. He might be better than Hayes, but its a push with the other two.

Oh well, maybe this "athletic freak" will change our minds in the next 3-4 years.
 
Their track record on drafting foreign players is flat-out terrible. I liked the idea of CDR. I might have taken a chance on Arthur.

Color me unimpressed.
 
It is unreal to me that CDR is being passed up like this. That kid is going to be a good NBA player.

And I think I just lost a few hundred brain cells listening to that rant by Dicky V..............

BTW, in light of this giant goof from just drafted from Montenegro, whatever happened to that giant Russian goof Cuban drafted a few years ago? Did he ever play?
