Offensive perceptions

I think some of you are F'ed in the head. We are 10 hours from the F'in fun park and you are ready to bail.

Seriously, we lose Jamaal and Sweed, two great players but we have more than enough to replace them. Take Sweed a physical specimen, yet in the performance department his numbers were lacking. 306 yards and 3 tds. I’m pretty sure Quan, Shipley, Malcom Williams, Grant , and Buckner can pick up the slack. Freshman like Macklin and Crabtree can make a huge impact and we have 3 or 4 wrs that have a real chance of doing that.

Jamaal wasn’t the star back he was for most of the season, he was even benched for the Iowa St. a game which we dominated. Fozzy is going to turn heads this year. We also have proven backs with Chris and Vondrell. This year’s offense will not drop off.

Prediction: MNC for Texas! Well…. ok I will say we are going to win 10 games and I have high hopes for this year like every year.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Especially about Limas' 'lack' of production last year. I was on him like white on rice, until I found out that he had an injury. Cut the man some slack. I kind of agree with you, but all this team has on Offense is potential. Yes, I'm pretty excited about Fozzy as well, but he still hasn't played a game yet. I hope our young WR's step up, but all they have is potential.

And pump the brakes on the MNC! I have them winning 8-9, and if our defense lives up to the billing, we could win as many as 10. But we will have growing pains on offense for sure. I hope I'm wrong.

I think everything hinges on beating BlowU. If we bring swagger and attitude into that game with the belief that we will send the land thieves back across the Red River with their tale between their legs, then we can make BCS plans. If we lose, San Diego, baby!
