Players from both teams moved a LOT without the ball, thereby getting open more often, unlike our favorite team.
 
Yes, that was quite an offense Butler was running, considering the fact that they went 10+ minutes in both Final 4 games with only one basket.
 
And averaged less than 62 points and only 38% shooting for the entire tournament. They scored over 63 points once in 6 games.

I don't disagree Texas lacked quite a bit on movement away from the ball this year, but Butler was a far cry from the paradigm of offensive efficiency.
 
One of the teams scored 59 and had a buzzer beater to win the game. While they moved the ball well and moved without the ball well, it's not exactly great proof that they have a better offensive system...
 
I would rather them watch the defense of MSU, Butler, and Duke. That's why all were still playing.

Don't forget WVU. They were a terrible man-to-man team, but that 1-3-1 was so smart because it played to their strengths (length, athleticism, versatility) so brilliantly. Barnes should try to craft a defense that does the same.
