Of Tennessee’s 23 commitments, only 1 is

and why would you be shocked by a national team, it is possible for a coach to pick absolute dog **** players from manymany states, it all gets down to evaluation of the playes,
The players may not have any loyalty to TENN and only want the street agent advice... not necessarly a good situation with good kids from good homes...
street crime and campus crime go hand in hand in tennessee...

I would imagine that a few more years of this and the Tennesse highschool football coaches will not be too enamored with the Tenn coaching staff.

Tenn's not a great us football state. Doesn't produce as many players as it's neighbors. It's best city is Memphis, which isn't a ut town. This is normal.

my only question: who gives a ****?

Hook'em!!!

Tennessee is not a great football state, but its better than that. There have to be some 3 stars there and even 4 stars. Unless all of those commits are high 4 and 5 star, there is a problem.

Kiffen has certainly bragged on his recruiting thus far. The interesting thing is that it is definitely not intensive on the player evaluations. They offer a TON of kids and let the chips fall. Not saying it isn't a good strategy, but they definitely don't zero in on "a kid."

Wow. The state has a population of 6 million, they love football, the Vols have no real in state competition and they can only find one guy they want who also wants them?

I wonder what the average number of in state kids was under Phil?

LOL 14 signees from the state of TN? There are like 14 signees from a couple Texas 5A and 4A divisions I bet.
