Hadn't heard much of this guy since he graduated from Texas and ran out of eligibility to blast giant holes for Ricky and co. to run though. But I found out last week he's living in Austin and working as a family/marriage counselor.

Great guy who attends the same church as myself. He recently was married and has an unyielding love for God and for children.

I think he's getting his master's in Social Work b/c my cousin who's doing the same thing has had him in a few classes and said that he's the nicest guy you could meet.

Met him a few times when I worked at Casual Male Big&Tall back in 2000-01. He was very nice.

I met Ock once myself, and I agree with all of you of what a nice guy he was. It's good to see he's doing so well and is still able to live in such a great city!

I'm sorry about his injuries but it is great he is doing well and took advantage and got a good education at UT.

I remember when we recruited him he was the 1st of the "300 pound OL". Before him, our OL all weighed under 300. For a while, the OL ballooned out of control, remember that OL from Tennessee?

It seems that OL have trimmed down slightly again.

Anyway, Bishop was a great player for us.

And yes, many of our OL are smaller than they were back in the days of Leonard Davis. A lot of that has to do with what McWhorter asks the guys to accomplish, and the type of athlete he thinks we need to succeed within his blocking scheme.

Great guy! He works with my mom at the counseling center and have spent some time with him, a very delightful guy to be around. Smart as a freakin whip too!

My wife tells a story of taking the same child psy class as him. He always had a nice word for everybody... except... the first class after the UCLA game. She said he walked in and the room got very quiet. He walks to his seat and says "I don't wanna talk about it." Everyone obliged.

Good to hear that things are going well for him.

He is a very nice guy, but is extremly slow. Glad to hear that he is doing well. As an aside, does anyone on this board know what Omar Saleh is up to?

Hey I've played basketball with this guy he dunked it at over 300lbs. Big guy yes. But very athletic.
