We will face a competent (and very well coached) D-front today. We'll see what our OL is really made of pretty quick.

JD Spielman, WR for TCU will present a challenge. He put up big #s at NU before transferring to TCU. He’s a short speed burner, so the speed of our coverage will be tested. Fortunately, we’re not facing Bowman today, but we still need to put plenty of pressure on the QB so we’re not hearing about Spielman in the Heisman talk after this game...

Sort of like Leach, Patterson is a fun opposing coach for some good-natured ribbing. But make no mistake, he's probably the best game day coach in the conference.
