More Nigerian-Americans Are Reaching Highest Levels of Sports

I wasn't aware that the Ogwumike sisters were Nigerian-Americans.
Lots of good info on Christina Aborowa and her late start playing ball, basically three or four years ago. A pic of Christina's teammate, Felicia Aiyeotan, shows her to be pretty solidly built.

Quote from Christina:
“Before, I didn’t have a life; there was no opportunity to go forward,” she said. “Now it’s my dream, my hope. My mom doesn’t have the money to send me to school. Now I’m there.”
She plans to study computer science at Texas and would like to own a business.
“We believe in hard work,” Aborowa said of herself and other Nigerians. “It’s in the blood, to go hard every time, to go for what you want.”
