What is there to do in Austin for NYE? I will have a couple friends in from out of town. We're all in the mid-20s.

If you go downtown, reserve something now so you get in. Avoid the Sixth Street area as getting a cab there is a nightmare and so is the traffic.

Go to the far end of Sixth heading West. Maybe something like J.Black's so you give your support to a hornfans' business and also have a good crowd not full of numbskulls.

Hopefully one of the owners will see this and tell you what they have going on. I would assume it will be fun. Park your car early in a garage, go grab some food and enjoy your evening knowing you are just that much closer to getting out of downtown when you leave.

$30 cover gets you in the door, 1 menu item and champagne toast. I don't think we've sold out yet. Idea is to not overcrowd the place so it's uncomfortable.
