Numbers for the newcomers

Spotted the newcomers wearing the following numbers at practice:
Brianna (# 11); Krystal (# 21); Kelsey (# 45); Nekia (# 10). I was told that Lilley’s number is 41.

The current roster on texassports.com has the right year for the vets, does not yet list the newcomers, and still lists Chelsea and Ronisha, neither of which are on the team due to medical issues.

Something is very strange about that roster. It just states "Roster", with no years. Could have sworn I viewed it the other day, and there was "2012-13 Roster" as the label.

Regardless, I don't see Sara Hattis on there, which she had been since last December after the volleyball season was over. Strange that I can google her bio, and it comes up with her listed as a Sophomore:

I was pretty sure Chelsea Bass had been removed when she retired last Spring. Ronisha's name was never removed, which I had found strange.

Classifications have been updated as Chassidy, Ashley, GiGi, and Anne Marie are now listed as Seniors. Last season's freshmen are now listed as sophomores; remainder of classifications also updated, but not for Bass or Major.

Total of 11 players listed with no Hattis. Most of us wouldn't have expected to see Major or Bass on there; perhaps we are wrong about their future status with the team.

If you remove Bass and Major, that leaves 9 scholarship players. Add 4 true freshmen and one JUCO transfer, and we are at 14 players. One open 'ship for Kaneisha Horn should she choose to transfer from Alabama.

very generic roster at this point. It had been titled as "2012-13 Roster" before. I would venture to guess that Sara Hattis coming back to play is more dependent on VB coach Elliot than on her. In numbers, we don't need her like we did last season but she improved so much from the start of conference to the end of the season that it would nice to see her join the team again after VB season (preferably after VB defends their NCAA title).
