Wow, I thought that was going to be something funny to watch, but honestly that just made me sad. What a horrible ******* thing to do to a kid.
I thought he was going to freak out and start whining and bitching, but he never did. He was just completely deflated and hurt, but still kept his composure amazingly well for a kid his age.
The way he just stared at his parents with that teary-eyed questioning look on his face made it look like he wasn't upset about not getting the X-Box, he was just shocked that his parents would build his hopes up so high and then tear them down and laugh at him while they did it.
It looked like mom might have had some regret once she saw the reaction. I hope his parents get eaten up with guilt over that. It was ****** up.
My kid doesn't get every toy he wants, and he'll never get a video game from me, but I'd also never pull a prank like this on him.
Reminds me of the time a coworker mixed in a fake lottery ticket ($10,000 winner) with a bunch of real tickets he brought as a gift for a white elephant staff party.
Honestly, I cannot bring myself to watch that video. I know the joy it gives me to give my son a gift and to see him just absolutely light up with excitement. Who would purposefully give their kid false hopes and utter disappointment for their own pleasure? That is beyond ****** up. **** those people. I hope they get salmonella for Christmas.
