Now that I live in Austin, can't access HF?

Moved back to Austin a few weeks ago and have been unable to access HF on my TimeWarner RR service. Thought it was just me but my friend says he can't get on from his downtown office on RR either. Any ideas?

I'm on RR and I obviously can access it, but it seems like it took a while when I first started trying to get on. Glad you're back in the liberal mecca, Johnny!

I figured it out, no thanks to TW. I spent about 45 minutes yesterday on the phone with them and the poor girl had no idea what was going on. She upgraded it to Tier 3 and gave me a case number, but I haven't even spoken to anyone there.

Then last night I was dicking around with another router trying to setup a wireless bridge for my xbox/wii and I started looking up things about this Ubee wireless router that TW had provided me with. Found out that other people were having similarly weird internet problems due to the Ubee router and my router both trying to perform some of the same functions. Switched my Ubee router from NAT mode to straight bridge mode (so that it only acts as a cable modem and not a router) and voila!

Now I can resume wasting too much time here.

Billy and April have a baby on the way, so their new big day is a few months out. Nary a word is ever spoken by them about the gold anymore.
